Summary Effects of such exposure test factors as exposed-membrane-surface inclination and the structure’s configuration on stainability of membrane materials were studied in outdoor exposure tests. As for roof membrane materialsEthe tendency of increasing color difference showed as increased. As for side wall membrane materialsEit was found that rain water streak stains appeared on it as material surface inclination was increased to over 65°. In the latter caseEthe level of rain water streak stains could largely be reduced by installing eaves at the upper edged of the side walls.
