| Summary |
For faster evaluation of stain appearance on PVC-coated polyester fabrics， two kinds of accelerating tests were carried out. Stain appearance on specimens was evaluated by using colorimetry and scanning electron microscopy. It was found 血at the results from both of the accelerating tests corresponded to those results from outdoor exposure tests with respect to increase in color difference value. The results suggest that stain degrees of membrane materials can be predicted in advance by carrying out these accelerating tests.
